Harman Kardon AVR 340 Opinions - Blu-ray Forum

I know everyone here likes the Onkyo 605, and for good reason, I was just curious what you all thought of this Harman Kardon Reciever (Harman Kardon AVR 340), or just the brand in general. I've heard the sound with JBL Speakers and I loved it, plus it matches my setup at home with the color scheme and design.

I'm debating on this and some JBL Speakers or possibly still the Onkyo, but I like the style of this HK Better and it seems to suite my needs for having dts-hd ma encoded by the ps3.

Just curious if any of you know or have an opinion, thanks.

Does it pass audio through the hdmi? I went to best buy and they saw that I was looking at the HKs and told me that it'll only pass video... What's the point of that? Just run the HDMI directly to the TV and run optical to the stereo if that's all the HK does... Anyhoo, this was a while ago and I didn't end up with the HK. I don't know if they're still like that.
