Remaking the final countdown

I heard "rumour" that the movie The final countdown was being remade, same scenario, except it's a differant carrier and they go through a time warp to dec 6 1941, the day before pearle harbour and encounter admiral yamamoto's attack force......great movie, hope they remake it right if this is true
