Default Red's New HD-Surpassing Cameras

For anyone who hasn't checked these out, they're apparently going to be the stunners of the market when officially dropped.

Geez. The 5k is pratically IMAX resolutions Too bad the camera itself is unreasonably expensive since no reasonable display supports it.

Actually, the RED camera is very cheap compared to others like it.

Today.

In 25 years it's going to be awfully sad to read about how they only shot Title-X in 2K in the early 2000s.

It's like all those "Live on tape" shows of the 70s that are (possibly) out of luck for HD. But, Hogan's Heroes or Star Trek can get an HD treatment, since they were shot on film.

That they're professional cameras and not designed for consumers, and that that price is also just for the body, not the 5-figure lenses to go with it
