Default Goodbye computer blu ray and hello Sony S350

So after having the Sony blu-ray drive in my computer for a little while now im making the switch to a home theater based blu-ray player, the S350 is gonna be $180 on black friday so im gonna nab it and here is why

Got my sony drive for $150 a while back, the drive itself is great and thats where it ends. Software!!! first of all it came with crippled software that would only do 2.0 sound, who buys a blu-ray so they can do 2.0 sound, and gee the upgrade is $100 (powerdvd 8 ultra) and even then ive had issues with certain movies (i cant even get independance day to play) and tbh the computer is just one more piece in the mix of trying to get the best PQ/SQ cause you have the variable of the video card/drivers/picture settings for the computer thrown into the mix (not saying thats bad but its just one more part of the puzzle)

So the S350 seems like a decent setup, and i only have my Logitech Z-5500's right now and hopefully soon a Onkyo reciever, posibly the 606
