American Gangster Not Working!!! - Blu-ray Forum

This is my second copy of American Gangster the first 1 froze about an hour into it. The second 1 would load the Picture on my PS3 but kept coming up with an error saying video can not be played?

Had same problem with Sara Marshall froze about 1 hour into it as well.

My Ps3 has all the new updates and the disc are new.

Is this just me or is this something with UNIVERSAL.

dude it could be the ps3, cuz, i have those movies, or im not having any problems, then again, its could be some defective discs, dunno bro

Did the same thing on both of my PS3s
I was at BB doing a Price match and some guy in line was returning American Gangster said he had the same problem as I do. He said it also happened to him on the Godfather. I didn't ask what he was using to play them on.

I have all of the movies, godfather collection, american gangster, and forgetting sarah marshall, and im not having a problem on my sony bdp 300, then again a few bad disc would be it

I've been having freezing issues with all of the recent Universal releases. It's tolerable since I just have to press chapter skip and then go back to where it froze. I'm not using a PS3 though, Samsuck 1200. In fact A. Gangster was the last movie I watched and it had freezing issues about 4 or 5 times throughout the movie.

I watched my copy last night. It worked fine. My Godfather II froze and skipped amazon sent me a copy the next day my new discs worked fine.

Sorry for the bump, but mine just froze at 1:22 and even if I go to about 1:30 it still is having freezing issues. I'm not about to keep watching if I miss 10 minutes right in the middle of the movie. I have a PS3 and I never have any problems. What did you guys do? Return it or just miss the freezing part?

my movies are working perfect on my PS3's. It looks like its a hit or miss type deal...
