Asking for audio help and opinions
First off, I am looking to take full advantage of the latest firmware updates for the PS3. I am currently running my PS3 with an HDMI cable direct to the tv and then an optical cable running from the PS3 to my receiver. I currently own a JVC theater in a box (I know this does not support DTS-HD and TrueHD) which I am wanting to upgrade. Probably one piece at a time. So here are my questions:
Is HDMI better than optical? Should I be running my PS3 to the receiver and then to the TV? Is the Onkyo 605 a good receiver? Cambodianhooker
