In my opinion, I think Christian Bale would be a great VAMPIRE.

Why? He has perfect vampire teeth and only need add little fangs. He should do a horror film related Vampires and be on blu ray afterward!! I neeeeeed more blu Christian Bale fix.

Shouldnt this be in the movie tv discussion forum instead of blu-ray movies and releases? i was expecting to read something about Christian Bale being casted for a particular role.

He would play a good vampire in a movie like Interview With a Vampire, but I don't know how he would do in a movie like Underworld.

I see him as a great Dracula. Or maybe as Vlad the Impaler, the actual person Dracula is based on. That would be cool.

I agree he could play a good vampire (ref. The Prestige), but his career is so stellar atm it would have to be an Academy Award quality vampire movie to be a smart move. That's not a common thing, I'm a fan of Underworld and I think that's beneath Bale. Besides, after Buffy and Angel... I don't know if a more serious vampire movie could ever satisfy on the level of some of those episodes. In my mind I'd be comparing a Bale Dracula performance to the darkest Boreanaz Angelus performances, and I feel like I'd be let down.

Christian Bale at this point could play almost any role and be great at it. I think he is the best actor working today and he seems to have a good grasp of what makes a fine script(or at least his managers do).

I'll be honest with you guys, before when i first saw bale, i thought he looked a lot like tom cruise, he could have just as easily played cruise's character in an interview with a vampire

Bale would do good in any role as long the character script for him & the story was up to scratch

Look at denzel washington, he's the very definition of a great actor, he is able to carry a crap movie & make it watchable

I think bale isn't quite denzel but a great actor that's recently emerged into the limelight

Christian Bale is starting to become a chameleon on the silver screen. You look at movies like 'Equilibrium', 'The Machinist', 'Batman Begins', 'American Psycho', 'The Prestige', et cetera - he's built up quite an impressive library thus far, and there's still much more to come. In the same vein of Gary Oldman, nothing would surprise me now, as far as a role that Bale could deliver the goods on.
