Just saw that Mexico released "Jesus of Nazareth" on blu ray in November. Maybe we can get anEaster release here?

Oh man, the image quality on the DVD is terrible. This miniseries deserves a full-blown restoration similar to the one Roots got.

The cover image for the Mexican version shown here on the site says the series has been fully restored, so my interest in this is high. Oddly, though, a Google search leads me nowhere except here. Does no one have any info on this? If it's been truly restored and carries the original English track, I'll port that baby in a heartbeat. It's one of my all-time favorite films.

If there's anyone who managed to buy the Mexican Blu-ray release of the film, could you please post some screencaps, or some images of the packaging?

I saw that Jesus of Nazareth will have a March 2, 2012 release on Blu-ray in Germany, so I'm gonna buy that one.

And I'm very curious to see if the film has a new restoration, or any extras at all.
