Default Internet Radio for PS3?

Does the PS3 have the capability to stream Internet radio?

I would imagine so, it would probably ask you if you want to run the Plug-In, if you accept it would play much like youtube videos play or other streaming media.

I havn't tested it, but it couldn't hurt for you to try.

The only thing would be you'd have to be in the browser using it which wouldn't allow you to do anything else as you would have to exit.

Strange that they don't have the same option as the PSP does...

My future father-in-law doesn't have sirius or XM so he would be listening to stations that you can obtain for free via Windows Media Player. I'm guessing that at the moment, there are no options besides the Virgin radio station that can play via the PS3 browser.

I think Virgin radio in the UK streams it for the PS3 (and Wii). I had to search the site to find the info though so I don't know if it's still active or not. Here's the link though:

Edit: Oops, sorry. You posted before I finished mine and I see you already know about Virgin.
