That's pretty damn sweet. A BonusView player for under $350! I have updated the specs:

I saw it online and available last Saturday, but was puzzled as Philips released a statement saying that the MSRP would be $399. Strange.....but good for consumers. The owners manual says it will bitstream both TrueHD and DTS HD MA.....I'll find out tonight.

Anyone know if this will be upgradeable to BD Live?

That aside though thats a pretty sweet price for a Bluray player.

And whats better...decoding or bitstreaming? Is it really important that a player have both options?

Doesn't say anything about codecs, but this thing will definitely get you started.

Enjoy this time. Building the collection is the best part!!!

No, but our player section does.

Bitstreams both TrueHD and dts-ma through HDMI only.
Does not decode for analog. Similar to the DMP-BD30.

Mine too. Works like a charm. Gotta love it. Who needs a profile 1.1/2.0 player?
