Ok i doubt im the only one who saw some pics in the forums with people who put lights behind their tv and all through out their stand and really like how it looked So here is the link to those lights that people on this site use

I have LED lights in my 61" samsung. You should see greens on that thing. They are crazy vivid. It's wild.

Yeah i really like the blue behind my tv and then watch the salt water aquarium bd it really impresses the ladies when i bring them over

Cyron blue LED tubes at Amazon - these look really great behind the Mitsubishi Diamond 73" since the Mit also has the same color blue light below the screen. Supposedly reduces eye fatigue ... maybe but looks way cool.

What is the purpose of these lights (except to make it look cool)?

Is it against eye-strain or something?

Do these aftermarket LED's actually color change with what is displayed on the TV like the amber light? If so how do you bring them in-line with your video feed so they know what colors are on screen?

No.... they don't. I hear ambi-light or whatever, is pretty neat, but I've never seen it in person.
