What brand of TV do you own? What do you have connected to your TV?

you should try an HDMI-DVI cable...adapters can cause issues.

Also the TV must be HDCP compliant...what is the model number?

if its been fine for a while and suddenly stops working, it could be either a cable or an adapter issue. My guess would be the adapter.

I would buy the HDMI-DVI cable from monoprice.com, but if you just want to get a cable asap...go to Target.
