I can't wait for this game, and it's so much better with names. 2 years ago I bought a memory card for my 360 with the roster already loaded but last year there wasn't a good way for me to get rosters so I went without. This year I'll definitely be getting the rosters on my PS3.

Nope, free. Only thing is it's names only. I know some sites will change attributes/looks to make it even more realistic, but I'm satisfied with names.

Sweeet! Thanks. I think that it should be the names only too. I've played in a couple tourneys with friends and they jacked the attributes to make their players better, which is a bunch of bullcrap.

there seems to be a problem with editing the rosters on both the PS3 and 360. the game is freezing while trying to edit/save players. a guy on this board works for ea and has a video of the bug and will begin work on it monday.

just wanted to let ya'll know in case you're like me and don't like to play without real names

I don't see any PS3 NCAA 2009 roster files in the OP's link. At least not yet.

Theory: People trying to make rosters now are technically using a product that not been "officially" released.

I'll bet the first time a completed set of rosters hits EA's official "locker" in the game this will all be over with.

The EA guys have already stated this is a major bug, and they are working on a patch.

Lol, you must not know how hard it is to do a patch then... The testers who tested the game before going gold, have to go back and reproduce the error multiples times, and write down the exact steps each time, to actually find the source error, then find a way to fix it. I doubt it will be ready till a week after. We will see they have been working for over 2 days now, I would expect a week, so 5 more days.

the testers are having a "hard" time reproducing the bug. the can only get it to crash after downloading the already corrupt file. if they can't figure out what corrupted the file they can't fix it.

Has anyone successfully downloaded rosters yet? I am picking up the game at lunch and look forward to playing it tonight and I'm hoping to be able to have rosters. I would think there'd be more than one person with rosters so if anyone has found another person please put a link. Thanks.

Not to go too off topic, but does anyone else here disagree with EA using three different covers for the platforms. I myself own a PS3 and a HUGE RAZORBACK fan, so when i saw D-Mac on the cover for NCAA 09 on a display at Wallyworld, I was totally going to pick it up, only to see to my disappointment that it was only for the 360

Now i my not even pick it up now. I totally hate this different cover move by EA!

I actually like the idea in a way, but I hate Boston College and in particular Matt Ryan so it pained me to buy the PS3 version.

I don't mind that they have different athletes or mascots on the cover but it would be good if they made all the covers available for all the systems.

Me too.... I went to Virginia Tech and I was at the Thursday night game in the rain last year when he threw two TD passes in the 4th to win the game.... he is permanently on my sh*t list

Back on topic, I would like to see the covers for all versions be the same, even if stupid Matt Ryan is on the cover.
