Work at BR Blockbuster store in Lincoln, NE
Default What is the font used for THERE WILL BE BLOOD

I'm so freakin excited to get this movie on BluRay, I'm inviting some people over to watch it. And I'm making foods relating to the movie, ending with a big milkshake. I DRINK IT UP

Anyway, since none of my invitees have seen it I wanted to print up a one page 'program' for the movie, with a synopsis, critics quotes and such. And I wanted to get the font right for the title, but I don't see anything close to it in MS Word. Anyone know how I can find out?

This is what's so great about BluRay!! It's not just watching a dvd at home, it's a special presentation every time

BR kicks ass!!

Since you work at best buy, can i ask you question Mr. Skubrick? If I return an item for store credit, do i need the receipt or can they verify i'm telling the truth by checking my rewards zone card?

I work at Blockbuster, not Best Buy. And we'd have to have a receipt.

I just double check in suitcase.

It seems the link you have is actually for Certificate and as hard as it might be to believe...that website is wrong.

Old English, more commonly known as Engravers Old English actually does not have the extra flares on the end.

According to the latest true type versions, There will be blood is in certificate if you are using font software.

According to the previous post, if you are just googling...then I guess Old English will do, but if you plan on actually going to a printer, please ask for certificate.

Okay...later.

Anal retentive font obsession over.

Nice...well played.

The important thing here is that this dude can find the font for his party.

However...look at the name of the font you found.

Do you really think Paramount used that font??? I can't even print the name here. I promise you...I do this for a living. The font is a modified Certificate.

People (especially microsoft) hijack and rename fonts all the time so that they don't have to pay royalties. Okay...okay...maybe I'm going to deep into this, but it's true. Microsoft word has at least FIVE different sans serif fonts that are CLEARLY Helvetica, but they don't owe any royalties because they call it something different.

In any case...awesome research dude. The odds of finding two of those was slim to none and you did it.

Well played,

Dude, at which Blockbuster do you work? I applied at one and had an interview but didn't get the job even though the person they hired was far less qualified, haha, but it was just for a second job that would be fun and basically I wanted to have my own shelf of 'Brogan's Picks'. Anyway, good to see a fellow Lincoln-ite Blu and TWBB fan.
