Well i got a onkyo 705 3 weeks ago for 375 couldn't pass it up open box in the shelf never used thing at local CC. Anyways i was wondering when playing rush hour 3 it says 7.1 on the case but when i check the receiver it only list pcm 5.1. Is this normal for Rush Hour or is there setting i need to do to get 7.1 got all the speakers setup with the mic that came with it and that works fine at the moment do not have another 7.1 disc so im hoping its just a config problem in the receiver to turn on

are there Audio-set-up options on your Blu-player or in the menu?

ps3? make sure you selected 7.1 pcm in the audio set up also in the movie as well.

Ya i set the ps3 up fine and in the movie i select it every time before i hit play. It shows 7.1 when i hit display but only 5.1 is shown in the receiver. Ive looked at the settings and cant seem to find out where the setting is wrong.
