So few reviews? - Blu-ray Forum

With so many Blus being released and, approaching release, why are there so few reviews. I'm not complaining, I just find them usefull and enjoy them.

Sooooo... get on it!

Search the threads for info on any particular movie, you may very well find a review for one that you can't find here.

Hopefully the reviewers will be able to keep up once the floodgates open. I'd rather not purchase without seeing a review first.

You know, I wish they were hiring again for reviewers, I feel like I'd make an excellent reviewer - once I get my sound system up to par, that is. Shoot, I'd do it for free, almost.

We need Deci to do more reviews, since he did a great job in his review of The Orphanage.

I am all for giving JJ a shot, as I am sure his take will be very creative. Yeah, I know that I am a blu-ray.com fanboy...so what?

Some of us are getting the BDs before the reviewers get their copy.

Just be patient. If youre rushing to get the movie, you love it so much that you dont care about any review.

I personally dont read many reviews until after the film, weird but gives me that unbiased opinion of whether I agree or disagree. Id like to see a review for the movie TEETH

That would be SOMETHING

However, most of us would want to avoid any HD screen shots of certain "parts" of the movie.

If it's an upgrade, I usually wait for a review to look at PQ/SQ. But if it's a new movie I know I like, I just end up buying it. It's good to read how reviewers rate PQ/SQ, especially on some of these older films coming to blu-ray.

I usually visit high def digest and sort the list by the variable I'm looking for. Keep the reviews coming, it's nice to hear of blu's that aren't on my radar.

Thats pretty much me too. If I love a movie, I buy it and take my chances. But if its a movie I havent seen, but am intrigued by reviews of the film, then I want to hear about PQ/AQ before moving forward.
