Wouldnt be surprised if they were sending them to everyone, as they need to make back the $19 or so million they lost on this film so far!!

Think of it this way: wouldn't you like to see Rhona Mitra and her fine a$$ in 1080p? Plus, I heard the movie is pretty decent anyway. What have you got to lose?

I got one too.

It looks like the e-mails we've all posted to Universal over the years asking for Blu-ray support has caused them to collect the e-mail addresses so they could respond en masse.

Ironic Universal would choose THAT title to introduce themselves to the BD format, especially when HD DVD people thought that is when Universal would go Blu-ray.

Not me for one. She has more plastic in her chest/body than the production run of discs for this film will.

My first Universal discs will feature the natural curves of Rachel Weisz in The Mummy films.

Is Doomsday the movie with Kate Beckinsale? I thought this tanked at the Box Office. I may rent this just to see how they encode their Blu Ray's.

The following is an email I sent a couple of weeks ago to Universal. I still haven't received a response. Perhaps they 86'd it.

Dear Universal,

I have greatly enjoyed many of your movies throughout the years. Many of the movies produced by your studio are some of my all time favorites. I also want to applaud you for officialy announcing your intentions to release blu-rays. This email is primarily a wish list that some friends of mine and I have put together concering some of your catalog titles which, we would love to see released on blu-ray in the US...soon.

Gladiator (the Directors Cut)
King Kong (the Extended Cut) we realy want this one.
All of the Jurassic Park movies.
Hot Fuzz (One of my personal favorites)
Serenity
Munich
The Bourne Collection
The Kingdom
Children of Men
The Back to the Future Trilogy

All of these were mentioned because none of these have been "officially anounced" but all of them are desired by myself and many people (particularly some of my friends at blu-ray.com). Below is a link to a thread that is strictly devoted to Universal titles that the people are just begging for.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...ight=universal

Thank you so much for joining the blu band-wagon and thank you again for your attention to this.
