I think people are moving away from 'Discs' for there porn and increasingly using the internet. I don't think that HD-DVD will be around long enough for any great number of porn releases or any decent HD-DVD porn market penetration. The porn industry has not announced any titles yet or even when they will start releasing titles for HD-DVD. For those reasons I don't think that porn will have much impact if any on the war.

If HD DVD wins because of porn, that is the end of home theater.

Porn is a SECONDARY consideration. They aren't going to deny their kids Disney for porn. And if they do, then society itself is in serious trouble.

I guess it can go both ways. In Japan, porn is on BD (there was a thread on it), but in the home of the brave and free, porn is on HD DVD.

As we know, all the PS/3 gamers spend most of their spare time going dancing with their girlfriends. No need for them to want it.

Right now, Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are film enthusiast formats. I honestly don't think Porn is going to be a factor yet (if ever).
