Fight Night Round 4 - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone know if EA is getting ball rolling on this or not? I played FNR3 to death with my buddies on the 360, and I know the PS3 version has some new features, but I'd just rather wait for Round 4... whenever it might come.

All I know is that this game isn't a yearly game like most EA titles. I don't think this will come around until late 08 at the earliest.

Considering how awful the PS3 version of Fight Night Round 3 was, it might not be a good idea to ask for another incarnation quite so early...

I thought it was better and worse in equal measure, lower background detail but improved foreground detail. They'll be a lot more familar with the PS3 hardware now.. or when they actually unveil the new FN.

with EA's recent acquisition of the Microsoft exec who stepped down to take the EA job (sorry his name escapes me) I'm sure EA's PS3 games will suffer. I.E. Madden's frame rate issue.

They're not going to harm their own sales by intentionally putting out poor quality PS3 games.

this game was awesome on the 360 never played it on the ps3 but round 4 would be a deff buy for me

Glad to hear it'll be coming out. When EA did some moving and closing of some offices I thought they were gonna kill of this series. I think this series, unlike madden, improved after each one.

I think that's because they don't ***** them out every year. There's an actual gap which provides room for real improvement.

I loved this game on the 360, but was holding out on the PS3 for this title. I hope they can get a lot of boxers into this game.

Im so glad that they are bringing this back. I had heard rumors that they were doing away with the series and putting Ready 2 Rumble like boxing games in its place.
This game is really fun to play.

Well, they are ALSO coming out with a Ready 2 Rumble like boxing game called Facebreaker, but I'm certainly glad to hear confirmation that they are also continuing Fight Night.
