Just curious what everyone's favorit import is? I don't have any yet and need the feedback..

'The Island' (UK) and 'The Seventh Seal' (Sweden). Those two are also great films, in my opinion.

I have the Japan release of Avalon and the UK release of Almost Famous. Both are great, two of my favorite films.

It has white specks that pop-up more often than I'd like and maybe a couple of other blemishes. I wasn't dissatisfied with it though. Maybe Universal will announce it soon for the US. If it's not too far off, I'd probably wait and see how they do with it. Seems like I had to do something a little different with subtitles also but I need to try it again to see what that was.

BTW, these are the ones I have so far (Dune should be arriving sometime this week).

The only one I'm kind of iffy on is U-571. But, I need to watch The Illusionist and Face/Off again. I was doing other stuff while watching those two so I wasn't always paying attention to the movie.

Also, while I really like The Cave, don't take that as a recommendation. It's not the type of movie that will appeal to very many.

The Island, Face/Off and Beowulf are all great imports. I would like to get a few more like Children of Men but I try to limit myself to every once in a while because you end up paying $40+ for them

The Island, Starship Troopers and Thirteen Ghosts looks amazing, but The Recruit is pretty much perfect/flawless. The best transfer I've ever seen.

Infernal Affairs and Days of Glory are very good. My favorite is The Seventh Seal, a film classic.

Cant go wrong with The Island on blu-ray, by far one of my favorite blu-rays. Face Off was good as well
