Default question about "display image"!!!!

sorry for the questions but just trying to get this new tv all setup. i was going through the settings and came across the "display image" setting. it was on "full pixel" instead of "normal". which setting should i be using to make sure bd's are in oar?

yes sir hdmi connected.. so full pixel is what i leave it on? i see that the black bars get larger and the screen gets wider as far as what you can see in movie. "normal" seems to act as a zoom.

This is what "Full Pixel" does. Just an FYI though, some HD cable broadcasts might have a line at the top or side. This is not your display, it is the broadcast. You can adjust the center after you set it to full pixel. I recommend you leave it as it is for Blu-Ray movies and if you find your broadcasts annoying, adjust the settings for that input. The only channel that does it to me is NBC, I just look past it though....
