I'm a sucker for Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies, so this is very good news. I can't get enough Leatherface, keep them coming!

Anyone else smell another cash grab with an established name? Just another opportunity to try to one-up the latest bout of torture porn.

The hypocrit in me says I'll watch it when it comes out on DVD...

I love the Texas Chainsaw franchise (mostly the first two), but what I find ironic is that Henkel wrote and directed The Next Generation one with McConaughey and Zellweger, and it was absolutely atrocious. That was the worst of them all. So, with that in mind, I'll have no expectation for the next one, hopefully that way I can be pleasantly surprised.

I heard about this the other day. I personally can't wait, since the Chainsaw Massacre franchise is my favourite horror franchise ever. If it's anything like:

The original: will buy it immediately
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2: will just pass it off immediately and possibly buy it if it's very, very cheap.
Leatherface - Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3: might buy it if it's quite cheap
The Next Generation: would never pay more than a dollar for it.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: just you try and stop me from buying it as soon as it's released in stores or online.

Yeah the whole torture porn scene leaves me cold. TCM Beginning was leaning that way nearly.
