blu ray issues?? - Blu-ray Forum

was watching a movie yesterday until the screen froze so i restarted it once i did that my screen went black so i thought it just might have been the blu ray movie so i put in another movie and once i did that it came back with an error saying that it could not read the disk what should i do??

I have the 80gig and i got it in dec of last year

If you got the warranty with it where ever you got it. Exchange it. Thats my best answer. Or take it to Wal-Mart. If the UPC scans at there store they'll exchange it. They did that with my PS2 when it stopped playing movies. I was using the Game Shark a lot.

thanks man i just it was werid because i don't even play the system that much, but i have read things about when you do the update that it screws some things up. So yeah i think i am going to have to return it thank god for warranty

I've never had a problem with any updates. Got a 60gb. I bought mine April or May of last year. Still works like a charm
