Ok. I ordered the Onkyo 605 today and was looking so forward to hooking it up after I got home from work. I was just going to use the speakers I have here for now. I was under the assumption they would work.
I look closely at the back of the 605 when I get home and find out that I need a powered subwoofer. The sub I currently have just has the bare end of the wires. So long story short, is there a something I can buy, sort of an adapter I guess that can plug into the 605? Or does that just not exist? lol. I really don't want to buy a new powered sub as I just spent a lot of money on this thing that is just sitting here and cant' be used. Is there a cheaper way of getting around it or is a new sub the only way? |
