Here is what one reviewer said
![]() ![]() Rating: Bad shopping experience This website has an invalid security seal and is owned by the Accoona Corporation (Spyware maker) and Skynet Communications Corp. (highly unsatisfactory record with the Better Business Bureau- history of sending damaged items and not refunding consumers, misuse of the BBB seal. I shopped here myself and had a damaged plasma TV- the delivery person admitted that they had moved a forklift into another model plasma, and what probably happened is that they switched TV boxes. So, when the first TV owner (who got the beat up box) inspected, he'd find an undamaged TV inside. When I recieved the pristine box, it was likely that I wouldn't open it and then they could blame the broken TV on me. I was APPALLED and the third party delivery courier admitted that it was a sneaky sales practice. If HE had not recommeneded that I checked for damage before I left, I likely would have taken the TV and I would be blamed for the damage after that, so they could steal $3,000 for a 50" plasma from me. They tend to ship from warehouses in California, something they neglect to say on their website. Also, on epinions.com, many positive reviews have (name)_dt1, make one review on the day of account creation, and sound like employee testimonials. So, in conclusion, if you like: -Prices that aren't honored. -Slow shipping. -Recieving broken or used items. -Being forced to perform chargebacks to obtain your money. Then shop here! Websites from that company! BestBuyPlasma.com (or .info), Skynet22.com, BestPlasma.com, PlasmaBAY.com, DigitaleTailer.com, and NYLiving.com __________________________________________________ _______________ That's not good. ![]() |

There's nothing wrong with multiple companies owned by the same people. Best Buy Plasma, LCDTVs.com, plasmabay, they're all out of New Jersey.
They used to have a bad rap, but over the last year or two have really cleaned up and I don't think you should be concerned with them at all. They have a satisfactory rating with the bbb.org since 2004. http://newjersey.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Rep...&firm=17002366 If they were misrepresenting the Better Business Bureau's seal, you can be sure the BBB would know about it. Anyway, more importantly is finding out if the manufacturer's warranty is honoured, which you can find out by calling Panasonic. Generally if a BBB.org accredited business states that the unit comes with the manufacturer's warranty, rather than just a warranty, it should be good; but call Panasonic to further put your mind at ease. |

Sounds to me like you are better off not taking the chance. They might be good, they might be bad. They might give you a good TV, they might give you a bad TV.
I'd just spend the extra bucks and get it somewhere else if I were you. |
