Verifying DT HD and DTS MA HD
Fantastic thread crackinhedz...
A question for you or anyone please. My receiver is the Sony 3200ex and I am using the PS3 60 g first edition. I updated all the latest firmware. I am connected with HDMI and my settings are set to pcm. When I play twister and choose DTHD or I Robot and choose DTS HD MA the receiver displays linear pcm/ 48khz and then the movie starts. Is this Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master sound? My receiver is around 18 months old and will only display the DD ex and DTS es logo. I do know if my 3200 is only pass thorugh. Do I need to upgrade my receiver? if yes what do you suggest. There seems to be a lot of talk that the Onkyo 805 is one of the best. Thanks, M |
