Default I What You Did Last Summer Films Coming to Blu Ray

Two 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' Films Coming to Blu-ray
May 12, 2008

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the original I Know What You Did Last Summer and the first sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, are coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 22.

The Jennifer Love Hewitt slasher flicks will be presented in widescreen 2.4:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.

The only confirmed supplemental feature on I Know What You Did Last Summer is a filmmakers' commentary with director Jim Gillespie and editor Steve Mirkovich. I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is currently scheduled to include a making-of featurette and "How Do I Deal" music video performed by Jennifer Love Hewitt.

I Know What You Did Last Summer and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer on Blu-ray will each carry an SRP of $28.95. Check back regularly for any additional disc specs, high resolution cover art, and pre-order links.

Yep that would be them. I'd watch them to see Jennifer Love Hewitt run around in 1080p, with the sound turned off.

Ahhhh...I saw the first one in the theater with one of my college girlfriends.

She had an alter in her room.

I was all "Um...what's that??"

And she was like "Sssss'my alter."

As if it were a chair or a can of soda.

Thank you folks...I'm getting off the leather couch now.

I have been waiting for a good reason to get into the blu-ray movie buying game and so I think these will be the first titles I buy! I loved these movies. The only shame is that they couldn't have done it sooner seeing as these are based on the 4th of July so I usually watch my dvds on or around that date.

I would only watch them if they release the unrated version where Jennifer Love Hewitt runs around topless....in 1080p....with the sound turned off.

These movies had great cinematography. If Sony doesn't screw up the transfers, they should look awesome in high definition.

And please Sony, 24 bit PCM for the soundtracks.

I really liked the first two so I'm looking forward to getting them on blu-ray. I actually bought the 3rd one on DVD but didn't end up liking it very much. Don't think I'll get that on blu-ray (if it's released) unless it's essentially free in some sort of boxset.

Toilet paper is much cheaper than these movies, and get's the job done better.
