As my nickname suggests... I'm a HUGE fan, over the top fanatic.

Someone got this on BD? I think Sony did a good job with it, given the budget of the movie (19 millions of dollars in 1998/1999). Not only, cinematography wasn't stellar to begin with, LOL.
Good PQ anyway.

What do you think?

Surely as hell it features a better PQ than 'Kickboxer' BD. Truly.

Personally....I was not thrilled about the film and as you said, cinematography wasn't stellar (it was the directorial debut for stunt coordinator Mic Rodgers) but considering it did receive an HD transfer, heck of a lot better than DVD but truthfully, the release was nothing to rave about.

If there is one thing I enjoyed was the Van Damme: Looking Backward, Moving Forward featurette and his discussion of his career up the point of "Universal Soldier: The Return".

Otherwise, I more than likely will check out the upcoming US:Next Generation film when it comes out.

That will rule the world. Shot on digital cams, to begin with. Peter Hyams as cinematographer. 'Nuff said.
