Question Need Help!!!

Hello i have purchased a Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray Player and we had geek squad hook it up to our system. We deiced to give it a run we noticed something odd. I would sometimes flash a green screen while watching the movie. It is almost like the Blu-ray player is trying to refresh itself. Is this a setting we could change or do we have some cables wired wrong?

sounds like it could be the HDCP handshake.

perhaps try another HDMI cable or make sure the one you are using is connected firmly?

Thats what the people at best buy told us but they seemed unsure of it. Does this usually happen with the Blu-ray players?

no, but it does happen.

id try another cable first, if that doesnt solve the problem maybe the BD players HDMI connection is faulty? ...try a different cable first.

also, are you connected directly to the TV or through a Receiver?

it will be an .iso image file, so its not quite the same as burning an audio or data cd...your burning software may have this capability, if not try one of these...

How to successfully burn or write an ISO-image to CD

this is one I use, pretty easy.

1. Start Program
2. Choose Mode / ISO / Write
3. Select the ISO file you want to burn
4. Choose File/Write to burn the image to CD/DVD (or click on the HD=>CD / DVD image)
