Any chance of starting a videogame discussion section in the "off topic" area?

I know there is a ps3 section already, any chance a mod could create a video game dicussion area as well in the off topic section of this wonderful forum? If not than sorry in advance.

I actually ment a mod should create a "subforum" in the "other" area thats just gaming discussion , not just a single thread on gaming in the off topic area. Don't get me wrong I love my ps3 , but I wouldnt mind talking about other sytems and games since I'm sure lots of people on this forum have other systems too.

Yes I realize this is a blu-ray forum but if you look at the other subforum descriptions such as this one:

Movie and TV Discussion (115 Viewing)
General discussion of movies and TV shows, not directly related to a Blu-ray release.

Or : HDTV Discussion (92 Viewing)
Discuss HDTVs and related topics, including LCDs, plasmas, RPTVs, CRTs, etc.

So yes there are subforums in this forum that do not neccesarily pertain to blu-ray, thats all I'm asking. So if there are these types of subforums on here , why not a little section for us Game enthusiests to chat , I mean the Xbox will most likely release a Bluray add on drive anyway by Christmas '08 so they'll soon be part of our big happy blu family.

I think I get what your saying. Like the Games and Ps3 forum has a sub-forum for PSPs. Thats what you're talking about right?

Ya pretty much thats all, I love the ps3 forum and all but would'nt mind having a nother subforum to chat about other games as well. (also because I only use the internet at work and this is one of the few good sites I've found that are'nt filtered by the IT dept. , so this is one of the few sites I can get any kinda gaming info on)

Yeah, I think that's a great idea. (Not sarcastically) So we could discuss pre-ps systems like mario kart on snes or original Sega Sonic.
