This has been a great Blu-ray year for me and it's getting better.
My favorite movies have always been in the AIP/Corman/UA family. Things were pretty bleak for a long time but we are now getting announcments and discs from Scream, Kino, Olive et al. Add these to the beach party movies announced and I'm one happy old guy. |

I'm still hoping that somebody can release THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED and BLOOD AND LACE, although Cliff has hinted at issues with those films (elements and rights issues, respectively).
Great to hear about BEACH BLANKET BINGO and MUSCLE BEACH PARTY. |

Caveman was a trip when I saw it during childhood. I'm all over this one for Barbara Bach alone.
Count me in for The Wild Angels as well. I liked 1969 well enough when I rented it a couple of times back in the day, but I'm not sure if I'll be owning it. (This is Great Owl code for, "I'll probably be buying this when it is released, but I'm just trying to talk myself out of it right now.") |

Oh man, I've been waiting for Caveman for so long, it's not even funny. This makes me far more happy than it should, lol. My brother and I both have fond memories of catching this film on the weekends when it was shown on TBS, USA, or TNT.

A big YES for Caveman! I bought the DVD for both of my nephews and a few friends, who always get a laugh out of it and always thank me.
And a yes for The Wild Angels too! Woo-hoo! I still vividly remember playing the 45 of Blues Theme over and over and over again on my S&H Green Stamps acquired record player. ![]() [Show spoiler]

S&H Green Stamps? Holy memory flood! I remember filling books of those by the dozens. I'm surprised I still have tastebuds.
Yeah, I loved Caveman when I was a kid. I wonder how well it holds up. I remember Barbara Bach held me up. |
