Homemade Custom Gunmetal Grey Playstation 3
-dieselstation

Used Tamiya Gunmetal TS-38 for Paint and Testors Dullcote 1260 for the flat clear.

That looks wicked dude. Is it easy to take the shell off to paint it? And how did you not paint over the lettering?

He must have used some kind of tape to cover the letters and other areas not to be painted.

very good job, id like to try that but i dont want to risk opening up my ps3.. when i did that to my ps2 i had to get another one

theres a masking film... man i cant believe i cant remember the name........... airbrushers use it its like transfer paper except its slightly sticky so you can easily mask off what you want.. FRISKET well thats a brand but yeah

He said he took the letters off because they are actually stickers he used a hobby knife ...
