Urban Legend easily. UL was fun, and even clever at time. IKWYDLS was mildly enjoyable but kinda dull.

this was a tough one for me--- I really like both movies! I went with URBAN LEGEND solely because of the wonderfully over the top performance from the "surprise killer" in the final act!

The UL killer was certainly more outgoing than that Jimmie Dean Beau Bob Billy Earl Buford the 3rd in IKWYDLS.

I enjoy both, but Urban Legend has aged very well and has a lot of fun with the premise. Honestly, next to Scream, it's probably the best teen slasher of the 90's.

I Know What You Did Last Summer is probably the best Scream knock-off. UL is not.

Ikwydls--saw the mediocre sequel back in the day with a lady friend.

I didn’t like the sequel at first, either. But it grew on me over time.

Of course, it’ll never be close to the first movie. I like the TV series, but less than the first movie and more than the second.

The third movie was one and done for me.

Urban Legend. It was a clever enough idea that it's one of those ones where a writer making the pitch basically could've just summed it up in one sentence and the concept was strong enough that that alone could've sold it. And to top it off, it was very well executed, starting right off the bat, as it has a killer opening.
