Phantom Menace at least had some fun stuff in it and a sense of adventure at times. Plus it had a pretty solid light-saber duel.

Revenge of the Sith was a tedious bore with a dull overly long duel between Anakin and Obi Wan in which George seemed more concerned with throwing as much digital shit on the screen as possible, than creating tension and drama. Like the Disney trash, the prequels are best ignored.

If you had asked me this 10 years ago I would've said ROTS without hesitation. However as I've gotten older, I've come to realize that Phantom Menace is my favorite of the PT. It's by far the most Star Wars-like film of the Prequels. Yes, Jar Jar is annoying. However there's a lot of really good stuff in it as well. Revenge to me does not age well. Everything is so fake looking! Seriously, watch that movie and then segue into Rogue One. The difference in just the look of both films is so vast. Rogue One looks "real." More true to life. ROTS looks completely green screened (and it is). Every single Anakin/Padme scene is so cringeworthy! Plus the Anakin "turn" is ridiculous.

Looking at the 6 film arc, i would say that Revenge is indeed potentially the second-best SW film, with Phantom at the bottom of the pile.

I know a lot of people prefer ROTS, but my personal favorite of the PT is TPM. TPM gets my vote.
