Any 2-player downloadable/online PS3 games to recommend?

Something like Tower Defense/PixelJunk Monsters, the likes.

Something that is easy for girls/girlfriends to enjoy/play?

Most of the PS3 games are for hardcore gamer/ single players.

Dont see many that is 2 player +

My fiancee is not into Sport games too.

We looked at the PS store, not sure which one is good and downloaded some demos, havent seen much of them.

Super Stardust HD has a co-op mode if you like those type of shooters.
flOw has a two player, but there is no real point to Flow.
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. Excellent and fun puzzle game.

I would recommend Puzzle Fighter if you like puzzle games. I think there is a demo you may be able to try first, but I could be wrong.

If you don't mind corny sci-fi space opera storylines, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil is an interesting game. There's a demo you can try (with in-game upgrade option). It's kept my niece and nephew occupied in cooperative combat for many an hour.

I'm not wild about Super Stardust HD's current multiplayer mode, but reportedly it's getting a multiplayer pack upgrade at some point which will offer split screen action and other modes.

Also, there may be online multiplayer coming, this may be part of that pack. I have not tried the multiplayer, but the single player is fun. I like the occasional shooter like SSHD.

Pixeljunk monsters is the way to go with Wives/girlfriends. it is a fun game and they can ease into it and see how it works. My Wife and I have had a great time playing this together. They like when they can help get a rainbow(my wife insists on starting over the second we lose a guy).

we're actually fighting playign the game, saying, why didnt you put a canon there etc etc..



I downloade Super Puzzle Fighter! Its good 2p game.

I think I may try the super star dust.

the only other downloadable games (besides Pixel Junk Monsters and Puzzle Fighter) I can think off are;

Rampage - fun game.
Mortal Kombat II - not really a chick game, but anyways

There are some decent 2 player Disc games, I know we like Star Wars Saga Lego, good game that even my girl can enjoy.

if your ps3 is b/c, i would recommend digging into ps2 games. my sons really into the star wars games where he can fly the ships
