PS3 Withdrawlzzzz! - Blu-ray Forum

Well.... finally shipped out my launch release 60GB PS3. Reason was, Sony OFFERED to replace my unit (yes, outta warranty) due to the RARE GTAIV system freeze-up issues! I must give sony props for addressing the issue, BUT DANG do I miss my ps3. Never thought my wife would also be affected by this void! Well, time 2 go do some more sweating on da Wii Fit!

are they giving you another 60 gb or a 80gb ?

I kinda hinted to get the 80, with the 60 features, but didnt wanna push the issue. They said they were gonna send me another 60, and offer a 90day warranty. He did slip up and say that the "hardware" was gonna be updated. Things that make u say MMMM????

Sorry, I have to be nosy...how was your wife affected? Most female are happy they get to have a conversation again. Oh, wait...you've been married awhile, haven't you?

Mine doesn't care, she talks to me anyway...

Of course when it gets really intense I just scrunch my face a bit and she says, "Oh, sorry, I'll wait"

Or I just make sure the house knows that I will be playing video games at unreasonable volumes and that interruption of said gameage will be met with swift and notable discontent to the offenders of said declaration.

That usually flies over pretty darn good!

....Married a while... Yes, but, let's remember.... she just got Singstar for Mother's Day, and Every weekend, we dedicate family time and rock out on Rockband together. She's the lead singer. Interesting that Sony is fixing it for free due to a rare GTA4 problem. I just had to replace my HDD because it went bad. Dont know if GTA had anything to do with it. I lost all my save info, but I saved by not paying Sony $150. My 120gb HDD was $60

Can I join your WITHDRAWL club? I'm in Ontario right now for 3 weeks for my sisters wedding... and none of my close friends in town own a PS3! I'm screwed for 3 weeks!!!

i'm going to be leaving for about 6 weeks this summer. no ps3 in sight... kind of scary , i try not to think about it. lol

You could always take a PSP and go for some remote play just to remind you your PS3 is still there and working.

WOW, that's longer that I'll be without mine! Sorry 4 u dude. I just got a call from UPS, my ps3 will be in tommorrow! I've been seperated for only 1 whole (seemingly endless) week! Best wishes to you with ur reunion!

I feel your pain. My Blu-ray drive went out and mine has been out for repairs for 2 weeks. It's finally coming home tomorrow, so I can finally get back to GTA.
