Default Build your own movie

Basically cast and market your own film.

THAT GUY

Rated: R
Genre: Comedy
Tagline: A.) Be with your beautiful female co-worker, or B.) stay in a crappy relationship with your male fiancee.

PLOT: Sam, a gay man living in New York City gets the job of his lifetime at a fashion label. Just days after he starts working, Sam questions his sexuality when he starts to fall for his female co-worker, Jane. As he falls more in love with Jane, Sam has to go through the process of breaking it off with his demanding long-time fiancee, Hector.

CAST:
Jonah Hill (Superbad, Knocked Up) as Sam
Paul Rudd (Role Models, Knocked Up) as Hector
Mila Kunis (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, That 70's Show) as Jane

Try writing a trailer description for the movie idea. I wanted to do it on this one but the jokes would be too.... yeah. No offense to anyone on here.

Haha this sounds like a fun thread. As I was reading your plot, I was thinking, oh, this kinda sounds like a good romantic comedy ya know, might be good. Then I got to the cast and I starting laughing my ass off, I totally see where you want that to go and I think that could be an awesome movie. Good idea

Thanks man. I really think it could be one of those Judd Apatow films. There's more ideas coming.

I just finished watching knocked up for the first time. and you're right. Paul Rudd is the man! He should be in every film. Even just a little thing like he did in night in the museum.

Do you have any that aren't high concept?

sorry it's a crime to bump my own damn thread.

this good thread idea just came into my mind the other day. BTW, i do have low-concept ideas. I co-wrote a script with my friend about a gangster crime during WWII.
