Default Keep the PSN demo after you buy the full game?

Hi,

I've enjoyed the demos of various games since getting my PS3. Recently,.. I've been buying a few games and I don't know if I should delete the demos or not. One nice thing about the demos is they tend to load faster and you don't have to go find the disc if you just want to play the game for a few minutes and then maybe jump into something else.

I suppose it's a bit trivial but I'm just curious... Do you keep demos after you buy the full version of the games in general?

Demo's only have a small fraction of the content of the game. When I buy the game, I delete the demo. No need to waste space IMO.

I always hold onto the conflict demo even if I own the game in case one of my buds want to play.

I absolutely delete the demos after buying the full game. With the amount of sizeable game installs these days, along with game save files, previews, and demos, it's hard to keep much clear space on a 60 gig drive. Files tend to load better on drives that have some breathing space too, much like with a PC.

I say delete them when you can..

i got 5GB left of space on my 60GB PS3 (and thats being saved for MGS4). The demos get deleted when I get a game, along with any promo videos I have downloaded.

they get deleted. i only keep demos of games i dont have, want or for others to play. i have to consistantly decide what to keep since having a 160 gig and doing backups take a lot of space. info from demos are part of that. even though you still have to re download the demo or purchased psn content.
i wish sony would implement a better backup system so we can pick and choose to what to back up to save space on a external drive or pc.

OK,

I'm convinced... I'll delete the demos of the games I just bought.

It's not like I need the hard drive space as my 60GB is still mostly empty but I suppose it's a good reason to start making better use of that space. Maybe I'll stuff a bunch of MP3's on there.

I have plenty or room (130gb/298gb) but i usually delete the demo within the hour that its downloaded. I play it, complete it, the make my decision. Thumbs up or thumbs down. I never play a demo again once i beat it i just dont have the time.

I can understand that but then again some games don't really fall in the "beat it" category.

I like lots of sports games and you know you can "win" but it's not like you beat the game and so on.

I dump 'em after I buy the full version. I keep some of the ones I liked, but not enough to buy the full game. I dump the ones I don't like. (The most recent Bourne game comes to mind. )

I delete the demos once I buy the full game. At first, I didn't have a choice since my 60 gig hard drive was full. I've upgraded the hard drive now but still delete the demos once I buy the game. I've been thinking about not doing that though. At times, I just want to quickly play a game or play for a few minutes before doing something else and kind of like the demos for that.

I thought 80 GB would be a ton of space, but looking at most of the new games, GTA IV required 4GB I looked at Quake Wars yesterday and it required almost 5 GB. At this rate you can only play about 16 full games on an 80GB PS3 on a 20GB PS3 that goes down to 4!

If the PS3 started doing 1080p Video Downloads for more than 30 to 90 second videos running out of space could be very easy.

It wasn't long ago that I thought a 500bg PS3 wasn't needed but I can see the need in my not so distant future.

I delete Demos after I buy the game.

I do the same with movies that I've seen in theaters or BDs that I have bought, unless I really like the video.

I mostly delete, mainly because if I want to play them again, (long after I have had the game, maybe after trading it in or something), i would just go download them again.
