Got the US release a month or so ago, really good and cant wait for Part 2 next year but I have to wonder why they are releasing it, none of the other Warner Animated titles got a BD release in the UK, perhaps they are hoping people will mistake it for Dark Knight Rises lol

"The Dark Knight Returns."

That's going to catch a few people out in the run-up to Christmas.

WHAT. MY US import of this literally arrived this week. Bah.

Hopefully this means we'll get part 2 then and I won't have to mess around again.

You can bet the UK release won't have a slipcover though and importing isn't exactly difficult, you just order it and then it arrives.

Just because you don't have any interest in something it doesn't mean it's crap - and as your alias is one of the crappest movies of all time, then the old saying about glass houses springs to mind.

Glad to see this coming to the UK, I already got a friend to forward me the US version, which is fine, I didn't want to wait either way, it's an awesome film, especially if you've read the graphic novel

I wish they would've waited and just release both parts together over here. Not gonna buy them separately.

Besides money, where is the logic in splitting them up anyway? They're only an hour long each!

Exactly! I'm gonna hang on for the inevitable double pack boxset thingy.

i was wondering why not many of the animated titles get released over here in the UK, like Batman Year One and all the others that get released in the US? Do they not sell well over here? Going to import Batman Year One before i get this, it will be my first animation of any superhero characters
