Seems Xbox 360 projections are down. Then I would expect the number of HD DVD attachements must be down too.
http://news.com.com/Game+stocks+down...l?tag=nefd.top With the attach rate of the HD DVD drive running only 2% or so (from what I've read at various sources), that's only about 240,000 attached HD DVD drives by the end of June. Even if that oft quoted attach rate is off by a factor of two, that's still less than 500,000 HD DVD drives for Xbox 360's. Anyone have the most recent projections for PS3's by the end of June '07? I'd expect it to far exceed 500,000. ;-) |
