I love the movie, very funny, but on the back of the BD it lists "Web-Enabled Content" as one of the Special Features. Can someone please tell me what this is and where to find it?

according to this there is NO 2.0 profile features on it
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/391/semipro.html HD Bonus Content: Any Exclusive Goodies in There? New Line continues to add extra content to their Blu-ray releases with exclusives like “Super Agility Trainer,” a high definition BD-Java arcade game. Alas, the game is merely a basketball-themed variation of Pong that gets old after two minutes. |

Well, I have an internet connected PS3. And that is weird that the review said that that was the only feature when the box says otherwise.
Has anyone who bought it seen any of this content? |

Hmm...I guess there aren't any web-enabled features. Strange.
I guess this would justify a rent. It was very funny at some points, and had a great momentum throughout. I guess rent and see if you want to buy. |

It does have web-enabled features, perhaps the reviewer lacked a profile 2.0 player to access them? It's just New Line's online portal, I haven't seen it myself. I would guess it's the same portal that appeared on Pan's Labyrinth, which had news, info about new releases and a Golden Compass trailer.

Hmm. Can you tell me where you accessed this portal? If not on Semi-Pro, then can you tell me where you found it on Pan's Labyrinth? Might give me an idea.

On a different note, I like New Line's new hi-def logo and the new tobacco ad was "different". ![]() |

Ah, I don't have the movie. I found that info on another site where someone said it was the NLC Portal. I was giving an example of what the portal contained for the HD DVD edition of Pan's. It's really weird you can't find anything, unless it was a packaging snafu. Double check every section, something is bound to go online. Also make sure you enabled BD-Live settings on your PS3. And while this may seem obvious, ensure you have the latest firmware, etc.

Wow, watching some of the special features they had the Hampton Coliseum in it. I saw a few of the Virginia Squires games that were played at the Hampton Coliseum...when they had Julius Erving (Dr. J) and George Gervin. I thought for sure that Moses Malone also played on the team at one point but I haven't been able to find anything to back that up.
Oh, I don't remember this but it appears Rick Barry was on the team briefly but made negative remarks about Virginia saying he didn't want his kids...oops...children growing up saying "Hi, y'all, Dad". So, what do people say elsewhere...hello instead of hi, you all instead of y'all and father instead of dad? I didn't realize "hi" and "dad" were a southern thing is what I'm getting at. ![]() |

Thanks to both Owa and Geonosis. Yeah, they used to air that tobacco ad some time ago, and frankly, I never really noticed how disturbing it was until now. But I was never a smoker, so it doesn't really matter. But I digress.
Come to think of it, I am now convinced that there are no web-enbled features. I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but when I put in the BD of Walk Hard (which I also bought yesterday), the PS3 asked me if I wanted to enable online for that BD. It didn't ask me that for Semi-Pro, so I guess that slams this case shut. Although, I did put Walk Hard in first, and maybe my online settings stayed on...CASE OPEN AGAIN. Sadly, I moved my PS3 last night into a room where I can't get internet, but when I move it back tonight or tomorrow I'll check. |
