Default BD-RE Longevity
If I go drop ~$20-$70 on a BD-RE disc, how many burn/erase times can I expect?

I have more or less thrashed a poor CD-RW about 25 times on a different machine and the disc still works.
Is the available media tough enough to be trusted being used over and over a "few" times?
New machine, I haven't had the opportunity to really start punishing media on it yet.
