Default 28 Weeks Later Audio...

I just recieved 28 weeks later on blu-ray yesterday and watched it last night, whilst the picture quality at best is very good one thing that really had me frustrated while watching was the center channel, it was terribly low, any basic dialogue sounded far away, yet at the same time any loud explosion scenes were extremely loud? i know this might sound like i need to have my surround sound configured or whatever but i have used the microphone thing to calibrate it and it seems to be the same with ALOT of 20th Century Fox titles, i am using the Sony Dav-IS10 surround sound and BDP S300 (which i think is a f**** shit player as im having nothing but problems with movies freezing whilst playing) any ideas as to why this is happening? any of you guys having the same problem? and what can be done to fix it! - the audio that is.

I have a co-axial cable from the S300 to the reciever, and then there is a fixed cable from the reciever to the sub which has all the speaker cable going into it, center, rear, etc

To me it sounds like the skipping/freezing is the player, get it cleaned and update firmware. All Fox titles use Dolby Master Audio. Are you selecting the Dolbdy Digital 5.1 track on the discs? I would also try and play with the audio output settings on the blu-ray player.
