Think I should buy it and put it on Ebay? Since they're supposedly going to sell like hot cakes?

I would buy it if I didn't have one already, but not to sell on Ebay as they are mass producing them.

Err no it's only limited to the amount of the old 80gb ps3 since these are still using the OLD 90nm chip. Once these run out, the rumor is they will only make 65 nm or lower proc chip the ps3. It's still limited. It has been proven indirectly by measuring the power consumption from several people who gotten the bundle early which was the same as the old 80gb of 380watts.

Buy both of those right away.

(Send the extra one to me. I could use a spare PS3 and that game sounds cool )

Just curious on your source on that. Not flaming, seriously - I have been looking everywhere for info on that subject.

They haven't been making the 80gig since January, and 90nm CELL production stopped last fall, so it seems hard to imagine that they would hold a stockpile of 90nm chips for this release.

That said, until I can read confirmation that is not the case, I am holding off on buying my second ps3.

My 80GB MGS bundle arrived from Amazon today, and I can confirm it has the 90nm cell.

In the instruction book, it says the power output is 380W - Just like the 20GB, 60GB and previous 80GB.

The 40GB (which has the 65nm cell) says the power output is 2xxW.

Buy the unit, hang onto for 2 weeks and see what the demand is. Sell, Keep, or return.

You own a Target? Amazing!

Though It's probably too late now, You should have bought it, then maybe you could have made some money, or sold it for the same price and lost nothing, or returned it

I may be wrong, but I do believe Target charges a 10% restocking fee of an item of this nature which falls into their "Specific Electronics" category when it comes to returns.

We don't have Target stores in my City, We Have 2 Walmarts, 2 Zellars, a Great Canadian Superstore, a Costco, 2 Future Shops, and 3 London Drugs, Although I think Vancouver May have a Target, But none of them Charge a Restocking Fee on Anything like that.

Well, I finally scored the PS3 MGS bundle today at my local Target - it was just sitting there at 12pm - much better deal than the 40 gb if you want the rumbe sixaxis, as I did. I would have gotten a PS3 sooner, but the rumble was make/break for me.

Wow, just looked on ebay and the scam bidders are having a field day with this. I looked at the bundles sold and 3/4 of them went to people with 0 feedback and were "new members". Not sure why some idiots would want to do that, its not like the sellers are doing anything wrong, but ebay is going to be refunding A LOT of seller fees due to non-payment.

I guess, but you know, A lot of people have never used ebay before.... how can they build up feedback without buying first? And I've only ever bought one thing from ebay, and I payed by Credit Card Right Away

But these people aren't innocent. The same thing ALWAYS happens with big console releases and to a point still happens with the Wii. Anytime there is money to be made, the scammers come out.

I bought 2 PS3's at launch and sold one and the first guy that won the auction was a 0 feedback scammer, and obviously was never going to pay me. I had to relist it but I did well on it. This time, sellers are being targeted again.
