Just started installing MGS4. I already know this is going to be a great game!!! So the install starts and a message pops up (health warning) and there's Solid Snake lighting up a smoke! Beautiful!!!!

Honestly, I'm about an hour in on Boss difficulty, it it's mind blowing

I honestly haven't ever played anything like it except for the previous Metal Gears, but they don't even compare.

Been playing since 4:30 (its 11:00 at the moment). Just stopped about 10 minutes ago. Amazing game

Nontheless- I dont agree with you about the "best graphics of any game" thing. Uncharted had much, much better lighting and shadowing (the shadows of MGS4 are all square-like... Kinda like Perfect Dark Zero was), water effects (Even though MGS4 had great swimming it wasnt as good as Uncharted), and fire effects (they werent very good in either of the games...)

Though, I could counter that by saying that MGS4 had bigger levels, a longer story, etc. ...but im just saying...... Uncharted's graphics were better in my opinion.

I have only completed act one... I do think Uncharted is the second best though. lol. Uncharted and MGS4 showcase the PS3. And both games are better than anything on the 360.

Yeah, you're right, Mass Effect, BioShock, Gears of War, and of course Halo 3 all sucked.

I have not tried online yet, but the game supports 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. It is native 1024x768 resolution, so it will be upscaled to display in 1080p. It will still look amazing.

The only game on that list that even comes close to MGS4 and Uncharted is Mass Effect, but of course we all know how that game runs!

I personally do not find Bioshock and Gears Graphics all that amazing. I am not one for the clay figure look of the unreal engine. I prefer games like Uncharted, MGS4, Mass Effect, Killzone 2 and Resistance 2.

upscaled 1080p, beautiful. Game of the year for me. with that said, i'd give the online about a 8.0. i'll be sticking to Battlefield and COD4. its not bad though

Me I love MGS4, but I don't like the way snake is walking... it's a little bit strange... It is alway has been like that in MGS games. But I too think Uncharted still have the best graphics.

Honestly it looks better than Crysis on my PC at high settings. But it is two different styles.
