Default Best "British Invasion" band?

I know Cream, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin are not technically part of the original british invasion, but they were close enough and I couldn't leave them out.

I almost left the Beatles out because, there is NO WAY they should loose this one! (imo of course)

This is going to be an extremely one sided poll. C'mon. We all know The Beatles will win this!

I may be wrong, but I don't think ELO was part of the British Invasion of the 60's.

Had to go with Pink Floyd, I am just not a fan of the Beatles. They are a phenominal band, just absolutely positively not my taste.

Include The Move in your poll and you'd capture a vast majority of ELO

I would rather stab myself over and over again in my eye with a rusty spork, then be forced to listen to any Beatle album! Hands down Pink Floyd imo with Zeppelin a close 2nd.

I realize that, but gouging your eyes out...come on now. They are only recognized worldwide as argueably the best band ever.

Beatles for the win, but it was very hard not to pick the Stones.

The Stones never gave the Beatles any songs, but the Beatles gave the Stones "I Wanna Be Your Man".
