It's an interesting week.

Get Smart - Comedy, Family movie (44% at RT at posting)
The Love Guru - Comedy, teen and up movie (0% at RT at posting 0-3)
Kit Kittredge: An American Girl - Family movie (86% at RT at posting)

Will they all cancel each other out? Who will win this weekend at the box office? What's your guess?

I don't expect a good opening weekend, maybe very low 30 million. I'm going to watch it though because I keep laughing during the trailers, and hopefully the movie can continue to keep it's pace.

I don't like the look of either, they both look cheesey and overdone.

That said, I'm pretty sure The Love Guru will earn more money than Get Smart, the trailer looked amusing.

yes, i rather see love guru cause of mike myers. he's always been funny. and get smart just looks plain bad.

plus the hulk is only in week 2. i believe it's going to pull a nice amount of money.

Get Smart is opening in 3,700 theaters and Love Guru in 2,700 theaters <<<that pretty much will answer the question. Get Smart is a film I want to see. I forsee the two films splitting the audience in search of comedy relief with You Don't Mess with The Zohan getting its share. I am hoping for a Hulk repeat at the top. Watch me go bonkers if the Hulk does his SMASH again.

I have greatly cut down my Speed Racer bashing out of respect for you, since we have agreed on most of the other films and you were a Hulk defender in the infamous FLOP thread. Surprised to see you take a jab at it

I was very disapointed in how the movie did and I was just venting my frustration. I had hoped it would do much better than it did I grew up watching the originals and have them on DVD but I guess it was not for everybody but I will enjoy it on Blu.

I will buy it in Blu for my son. I was going to take him to see it, but the movie is too long and he is too hyper. I am sure it will keep him entertained.

Probably Get Smart, most people ive talked to can't figure out if The Love Guru will be as funny as it looks or not.

love guru for sure will win just because of mike myers. i will def see it as well opening weekend. get smart seems like a good rental and im not interested in the other one

i gonna say that the Hulk holds on to number 1 this weekend.....with get smart bringing in 32 million and the hulk 34......guru will do about 18 mil
