Does anybody here know if you can adjust the screen size with an Onkyo 605? Everything is incredibly zoomed in on my TV making it impossible to see some things. An example is with the ps3 loading sign in the top right corner. When played on my Standard Definition TV it is perfectly clear sitting away from the corners of the TV, but on my Projection 1080i TV, i can only see half of the loading sign, and it sits directly pressed against the right side of the TV with only a little room above it.
Also, i can see the reflection of what is below the TV come through the screen near the bottom of the TV, which can sometimes be distracting... Anyway, yeah... I've got an Onkyo 605 7.1 receiver, a terrible 1080i projection screen TV (47'). Im going through HDMI to the reciever with an HDMI-DVI adaptor going from the reciever to the TV itself. However, even when i go componant (PS3) - Componant (TV), it remains zoomed in. Same thing with using the HDMI-DVI adaptor directly from the PS3 to the TV. The TV settings have nothing to do with it. It is set at 16:9 with no zooming on. The only other zoom in/out options i have are to zoom in even more then it already is. By the way, it hasnt always been like this. It's slowly been zooming in a couple mm ever few months. Its about 3 years old... If anybody has any idea of how to get around this, please let me know. ![]() Thanks! EDIT: Forgot to mention that i've tried every resolution possible. 1080i, 720p, etc. It all just looks the same for the most part... |
