Unhappy Samsung firmware v.1.6 Upgrade reversing audio

I just installed the latest firmware v.1.6 from the Samsung site. It fixed the image skipping issue I was having with several new releases like Jumper.

BUTT.......

Now I have a new issue. Blue ray 5.1 audio is messed up and almost reversed. For instance front speaker sound is sent to rear speakers. Standard dvds with 5.1 play perfectly in the correct speakers so this is not a reciever issue. Blue ray 5.1 audio is wrong. I noticed it immediately when I played Jumper after the upgrade. It affects all my blue ray disks.

I am using the single digital coaxial output for sound.

Any ideas??

this is why I always wait at least a few days before installing new firmware or software. Only exception I have is for Sony since they don't screw up like other companies (they can't afford to for the PS3 since their update goes out to milllions more people than say updates for any other particular player).

can you downgrade the fw? i'm sure samsung will fix it in the next update. be sure to tell them.

If you use BITSTREAM with Digital Coax. ITS IMPOSSIBLE that the player modify the sound because it just takes the audio file and sendit Unmodified to you're AVR.

If you're outputting PCM, then the player decode the CORE DTS track to PCM in a wrong way
