Default music licensing in games

im just wondering if anyone here knows how music licensing works in these music rhythm games.

now i know the oasis songs that are in rock band are not going to end up on guitar hero and dlc from gh ain't gonna end up on rb.

but does that rule apply to singstar?

now i dont see singstar as competition for these type of games but im guessing the rules may still apply, i hope im wrong
